- I have lived in Oklahoma since 1973 and Stillwater since 1975. I have had several careers and I contribute that to the many interests I have. With everything I have done, it always comes down to my love of teaching. When I am in sales, it's to teach people all about the product they are purchasing and how it can fill the need they have. When I prepare taxes, I also have to share everything I can with the taxpayer to help them learn more about their tax situation. Now that I own a retail furniture store, I look for every way I can to educate people about the choices they have to meet their needs. I use my store as a way I can support veteran/current military, nonprofit and public servants. I believe all of these people are in positions where they share of themselves without the monetary compensation they are worth. Because of this, I give them a discount as my way of supporting them.
