Solutions for the Student in the Dorm

Students living in dorms find themselves in a unique position. Most dorms are set up
for two students per room and the rooms are usually not very large. For this reason, students
need to be creative in ways to conserve space.
One way of conserving space is to use loft beds to raise the bed. By doing this, they'll be
able to place their desk under the bed and have additional space for other necessities in the room.
Another frequently used idea is use of the futon. Futons have come a long way in their design,
style, and quality. Futons are now available in chair size, regular full size, loungers of various widths,
and queen size. Futon mattresses can be as plain or fancy as you desire. They also come in various
widths with the most common between 6" to 10".
